Sound Designers

The last remaining spot in my design team - the sound designer - must be filled today. For my sake, their sake as well as the producers.

It's between two folks: one has been extremely persistent in all the right ways, and has demonstrated an interest in the play - and the world therein. the other comes highly recommended, and the sample that they have sent me, feels very technically right. I have been a bit put off by how long it has taken this one to send me samples of their work. But I know that things can get in the way - so I don't want to let that tardiness skew my judgment. I think I will like the way the second one works, but I am leaning towards #1 because of their promptness, composition skills, and overall enthusiasm

It's an important decision. Because I need to create a river without water.

I always find it hard to choose designers. I’m much greener than you but I think generally a designer in hand is worth two in the bush.

I just find if someone is never there, can't communicate promptly and clearly its better to have someone that might need a bit more work, given that we have the time to work it through...

Let us know who you choose!
