Sarasota day one

My schedule here is going to take getting used to. Asolo Rep is of course a repertory company, so the folks in my cast, david, doug and jimmy, are in other shows. So my rehearsal schedule revolves around their performance schedule. Indeed.

So, for example, I had day one of rehearsals friday from 12-6. But don't have rehearsal again until 630 tonight. I am not complaining, it just means that we are going to have to be on our game and swiftly.

Had a production mtg, followed by a meet-and-greet, at which I felt a little like obama going along a receiving line, shaking hands with the folks who run this place.

I assisted michael some years ago on amadeus in syracuse and norfolk. I am grateful that he brought me down here.

So - the first rehearsal. We read the script then did table work on act one. I've decided to add a dog to the top of scene 1. We'll see if its viable.
