Yesterday we read a few women to for the role of layla. Its a little unconventional to read - or audition - for a reading. But we only get two plus hours of rehearsal for a play that reads just about two hours.

It was also an opportunity to sit down with betty and get to know her better. We'd met a few years back at the 24 hour plays and she's off to holland wednesday and won't be back until two days before the reading.

Looking forward to working with her and getting our cast together.
