The Greeks

When I arrive a few minutes early at juilliard, I try to go to brian mertes' production of the greeks. This I think is his third year doing john barton's adaptation of the greeks with the fourth year students.

Its rock and roll. Totally inspiring. The set is littered with all kinds of objects: mattresses, sandbags, weights, and various found objects. There seems always to be a band playing. Its awesome.

Can't wait to see it. Can't wait to describe it. God bless the open rehearsal.
