I thought I should get back into the world of new york theater, so I went to see a reading at playwrights horizons.

And a cast of thousands. Or like five.

A play about a guy who feels nothing and whose father has just died and mysteriously left a young woman 10k. He receives a list of six names after receiving a disturbing anonymous call.

My reading of safe and sound is in five weeks and tomorrow I meet michael watson to discuss casting.

You get about three hours to rehearse these things so you better cast someone who is gonna hit the ground running. Ay. There is the rub.
