On the beach getting some reading done. Have just finished reading SAND by Trista Baldwin. I will be working with her on this at the end of september. Intriguing play about three iraqi war soldiers, an iraqi, and a british soldier from the distant past.

David Adjmi's MARIE ANTOINETTE is spectacular. Explores the life of the queen of france in a perhaps tongue-in-cheek manor without ever making her seem trite. Paris Hilton's got nothing on her. Itd be a great role for maria dizzia, I think.

Re-reading WITTENBERG by david davalos. The arden in philly is doing it - and it is a very funny, sharp read that puts dr. faustus, martin luther, and hamlet together at the university. He's a real witty writer. Never condescends.
