The little man

One of the peculiarities of the san francisco chronicle is that it manages to avoid a star rating system. Instead, it has the "little man" in the chair. If he loves the show, he is standing in the chair clapping enthusiastically. If he likes the show, he sits clapping. If he is ok with the show, he sits looking straight ahead, not clapping. He can also be asleep, or non-existent: he has left the theater.

Happy to report that he is standing on the chair, clapping enthusiastically.
