Nilaja has her last gig starting tonight. Yesterday was our 5 hour 30 min rehearsal. Its a strange confusing asymmetrical space but I have no doubt nilaja will master it. Its a thrust. an odd thrust but a thrust and marc barton and I agree that their is really not a bad seat in the house.
As I said to tony taccone, with all due respect to all the other cities, berkeley rep is THE place where I felt NO CHILD belonged.
I am thrilled to be back here: one of my first jobs was assisting tony taccone on caucasian chalk circle back in 1994.
